“Just Want You”
“I was actually really emotional and frustrated when I wrote the chorus of this song. I had come home from a meeting and was super discouraged. There was a lot of noise, voices, and opinions speaking into my life and in that moment I just had to strip everything away. So I sat down at my keyboard and just began to sing these words straight from my heart ‘I don’t want it if you’re not in it. I just want you.’ Soon after I finished this song with some friends from church and we watched it go from a simple prayer to an anthem for so many. And I just pray that this song will help you shut out the noise and truly embrace the presence and the voice of God.”
